Marisa Salon - Head Coach
Marisa has been coaching for 21 years and is a Certified Provincial Coach. She has been skating since she was 8 years old. She is Quadruple Gold, achieving Gold level in Free Skate, Skating Skills, Dance and Interpretive. Marisa competed in Adult Synchro for 5 years and Adults singles (Free Skate and Interpretive) for the past 3 seasons. Marisa loves sharing the joy of skating with her students and hopes to inspire them to be active in skating for life!

Nicole Grimsdell - Lead Jr/Pr & Pre-CanSkate Coach
Nicole grew up figure skating in Ontario, where she fell in love with the sport at a young age. Nicole’s youth was spent competing in Synchronized skating. Nicole has been coaching at the Revelstoke Skating Club since 2023. She enjoys working with skaters of all ages—helping them build confidence, learn proper technique, and most importantly, have fun on the ice.

Emily Domke - Dryland & Choreography
Emily started dancing at age 3, later discovering figure skating in Colorado. She competed in singles and Synchronized Skating. She is passionate about choreography and connecting skaters with their programs through music and movement. Ask her about her dog Ziggy or Taylor Swift!

Lauren Goss - Int/Snr Coach
Lauren grew up as a competitive singles and pairs skater for over 10 years at the Calalta Figure Skating Club in Calgary, AB. After many years off the ice, she started coaching for the Revelstoke Skating Club in 2019 and has fallen back in love with the sport. She loves the life lessons that skating brings, as skaters develop confidence, perseverance, work ethic, and body awareness, all through the joy of skating. She is looking forward to another year of skating and helping skaters achieve their goals!

Evan Creighton - CanSkate Coach
I am 16 years old and have been skating for over 10 years! I’ve loved helping out with the CanSkate and Junior programs and am super excited to continue sharing my passion for skating with others.

Kayla Harrison
I was a competitive skater for over 10 years and volunteered with CanSkate. I look forward to transitioning into coaching and creating a fun and inclusive environment where skaters can express themselves and grow.

Georgia McLay - Head CanSkate Coach
Georgia grew up figure skating competitively with Oak Bay Figure Skating Club and Kelowna Skating Club. As a teacher at RSS and head coach of CanSkate, she combines her educational background with her passion for skating to help develop young athletes. She loves building skaters' skills through fun and engaging methods that make learning enjoyable and effective.
