The Revelstoke Skating Club

​​The Revelstoke Skating Club offers Skate Canada’s CanSkate and StarSkate programs. We welcome skaters of any age or ability!

The CanSkate program includes PreCanSkate (for beginning skaters with little or no experience ages 3-4) and CanSkate (for skaters age 5+ with little or some experience). CanSkate is geared to beginners of all ages. Whether you are looking to improve basic skating skills for figure skating or hockey, or wish to skate for recreation, fitness or fun, CanSkate will get you there.

Junior Academy is a bridge program designed as an introduction to competitive figure skating and synchronized skating. The program is the next stage of development for skaters 4 to 8 years old who demonstrate enhanced ability and potential to pursue competitive skating.

The StarSkate program offers the best figure skating curriculum in Canada. Taught by Skate Canada NCCP coaches, the program introduces participants to the basic figure skating elements to create the foundation for singles, pairs, ice dance and synchronized skating.  StarSkate levels include Primary (Star 1), Intermediate (Star 2-3) and Senior (Star 4 and up).

Adult Skating classes are available Sept-Dec, Jan-March.  The only prerequisite is being able to skate forwards and backwards!  Perfect for a wide range of abilities, including those learning to figure skate, or skaters with previous competitive experience.  Lots of fun and a great workout!
